CaringBridge journal entry by Stephanie Fay — 8/11/2016

Nancy hopes to add her own journal entry very soon!  Meanwhile, her brain MRI is normal.  Heart MRI not scheduled yet due to some blood test #s they want improved first.  Not a complication in any way, just an expected delay.  Nancy is wowing the PT or OT folks twice a day.  And wooing all the nurses, doctors and other staff minute by minute.  She makes us all belly laugh several times a day, too.

We are so grateful for one another, our families and our circles of friends and colleagues.  Thank you.  NA and SF

Nancy, Jerry and I are thinking of you and yours. Three months ago I fainted at home and went to the ER. Turned out I needed my aortic valve replaced immediately. Spent 2 weeks at a Harvard hospital with amazing surgeon & staff. We’re visiting Noah in L.A. so I’m pretty much recovered. I still get a little tired. Will still be in Cardio Rehab when I return–a great program.

This just goes to show you, a person should NEVER skip church on Sunday!!! I did not even KNOW about this until today (I am the person leading prayers THIS Sunday, and so your news came to me via email just today!!!! ) Murray and I just read the whole story. Life can change in the blink of an eye…. We are soooooo relieved to hear that things are looking so good!!!! Nancy, I am here to tell you, nurses NEED patients who have a ready sense of humor.
